Storekeeper

Job Summary:
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing inventory, ensuring proper storage of materials, maintaining accurate stock records, and supporting smooth material flow for engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.

Maintain accurate stock levels and update inventory records in the system in Excel sheet.

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.

Storage & Organization:
Ensure proper labeling and safe storage of materials.

Organize stock in a systematic manner for easy retrieval.

Issuance & Dispatch:
Issue materials to engineering or other departments as per requisitions.

Prepare and pack items for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain records of receipts, issues, and stock balances.

Generate inventory reports for management review.

Compliance & Safety:
Follow company policies, safety guidelines, and housekeeping standards.

Ensure proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials.
