Storekeeper

To manage and maintain the catering store efficiently, ensuring the proper receipt, storage, issuance, and control of food ingredients, packaging materials, and other catering supplies while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all food ingredients, raw materials, and supplies delivered to the catering unit.
• Verify quantities, quality, expiry dates, and delivery documents against purchase orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate stock registers and inventory records for all store items.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of dry goods, refrigerated items, frozen products, and packaging materials.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the concerned department about low-stock items and replenishment requirements.
• Issue materials to the kitchen and food packing sections only against authorized requests.
• Conduct daily or periodic stock checks and report discrepancies, damages, and shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and pest-free conditions in the store.
• Monitor storage temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Maintain records of goods received, goods issued, returns, wastage, and damaged items.
• Coordinate with the purchasing, accounts, kitchen, and catering departments.
• Prevent unauthorized stock movements and minimize wastage and unnecessary purchases.
• Submit regular stock reports to the Catering Supervisor or Catering Manager.
• Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and applicable UAE food safety requirements.

Pay: AED1,600.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
