Storekeeper (Construction)

We are looking for an experienced Storekeeper to join our construction team in Dubai.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in construction site stores, with a good understanding of building materials, tools, equipment, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issuance, transfers, and returns.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Procurement and Site Teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Organize and maintain the site store, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
• Issue materials to site teams based on approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor material consumption and report shortages, damages, and excess stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers and delivery teams regarding material deliveries.
• Maintain proper records of tools and equipment issued to workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and site HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper in a construction company, preferably in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and site store operations.
• Experience in inventory control, stock management, and material documentation.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer applications.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare inventory reports.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with site teams.
• Previous experience with a main contractor will be an advantage.
