Storekeeper (Mauritian Citizen Only)

Aanari Hotel & Spa is looking for a reliable and organised Storekeeper to join our team. This post is a full-time on-site job at Flic en Flac, Mauritius.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods and supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued and remaining.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify items requiring replenishment.
• Issue food, beverages, housekeeping supplies and other materials to the relevant departments.
• Ensure proper storage, labelling and rotation of stock according to hotel standards.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
• Check deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe storeroom.
• Follow proper hygiene, health & safety and stock control procedures.
• Coordinate with the purchasing and other hotel departments to ensure smooth stock management.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, preferably within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with stock/inventory systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to handle and move stock when required.
• Previous experience with food & beverage or hotel supplies will be an advantage.

• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred.
