Storekeeper-MEP

Job Summary: Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory records for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) materials, tools, and equipment used on construction projects. The role ensures accurate stock control, proper material handling, timely issuance to site teams, and maintenance of organized and secure storage facilities to support uninterrupted project execution and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive MEP materials such as pipes, fittings, valves, cables, conduits, light fixtures, HVAC materials, pumps, and plumbing fixtures, verifying quantities and specifications against delivery notes and purchase orders.
• Coordinate material inspection with the QA/QC team and ensure only approved materials are accepted and stored.
• Label, organize, and store materials properly according to type and specification, ensuring safe handling and manufacturer storage requirements are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of material receipts, issues, transfers, and stock balances using ERP systems or inventory registers.
• Issue materials to site teams against approved Material Requisitions (MR) and maintain proper documentation of all transactions.
• Monitor stock levels of critical MEP materials and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment to avoid site delays.
• Maintain secure storage and tracking of high-value materials, tools, and equipment.
• Record and manage returned or surplus materials, ensuring proper re-entry into stock where applicable.
• Maintain tool and equipment registers and track issuance, returns, and condition of company assets.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in monthly inventory reconciliation, reporting any discrepancies.
• Ensure stores are clean, organized, and compliant with safety and fire prevention requirements.
• Coordinate material transfers between projects and maintain supporting documentation and approvals.
• Assist project closeout activities by preparing final inventory reports and managing surplus and scrap materials as per company procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Highschool certificate or Diploma.
• 4 or more years of experience as a store keeper on building construction sites in the UAE.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
