Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper for a restaurant in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The candidate should have experience in inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory and maintain accurate stock records.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
• Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, and pending items.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and freshness.
• Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), purchase records, and stock registers.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for proper stock rotation and expiry management.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team and restaurant management regarding stock requirements.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of food items and other supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the storeroom.

Required Skills

• Experience in restaurant or hotel inventory management.
• Good knowledge of supplier coordination and purchase procedures.
• Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, GRN, and stock reconciliation.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel or inventory software preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate candidates preferred.
• Prior experience as a Storekeeper, Store Executive, or Inventory Controller in a restaurant or hotel will be an advantage.
