Storekeeper / Warehouse Assistant

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods.
• Arrange and store goods properly in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform picking, packing and preparation of goods for delivery.
• Ensure all stock movements, including incoming and outgoing items, are properly recorded.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular stock counts and stock reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and report any shortages, damages, discrepancies or slow-moving items to the supervisor.
• Ensure goods are properly labelled, arranged and stored according to company procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and good housekeeping within the warehouse and storage areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
• Handle warehouse documents such as Delivery Orders, Goods Received Notes and stock issue records.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Sales and other departments regarding stock movements when required.
• Follow company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
• Perform other warehouse or store-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, Store Assistant or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Fresh Grad or candidates without experience may also be considered.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control is preferred.
• Able to read and understand basic stock documents such as Delivery Orders and Purchase Orders.
• Aable to perform warehouse duties including handling and moving goods.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking and willing to learn.
• Good attention to detail and able to maintain accurate stock records.
• Able to follow instructions and company procedures.
• Willing to work overtime when required
