Storeman/Forklift Operator

Storeman / Stock Controller Wanted – Wellington, Western Cape

We are looking for an experienced Storeman / Stock Controller to join our team in Wellington.

Duties include:

• Receiving, checking and booking in incoming goods and materials
• Dispatching orders and preparing deliveries accurately and on time
• Issuing stock and materials to the workshop and production staff
• Maintaining accurate stock records and controlling inventory levels
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies
• Operating a forklift and overhead crane to load, offload and move stock safely
• Keeping the store neat, organised and safe
• Pre-Picking Orders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a storeman in an engineering environment
• Experience in receiving and dispatch
• Valid 3-ton forklift license
• Must be available to work overtime on short notice
• Must live in or near Wellington, WC

Advantageous:

• Valid driver's licence
• Immediately available
• Overhead crane operator

Salary: Market-related, depending on experience
