YOUR NEW ROLE

The purpose of this position is to manage the efficient and accurate end to end process of materials and parts from receipt of incoming goods, storage, kitting and delivery to assembly line.

Receipt goods into the Marand ERP system and unpack deliveries, checking for damage.
Unload and load trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks in a safe manner.
Store and record parts.
Use company processes to maintain accurate levels of stock within the store using processes such as Kanban systems, documents registers and physical stocktaking.
Perform cycle counts and assist with full stocktakes.
Follow FIFO principles and processes to ensure products are used in correct sequence.
Control the flow of materials from the store to the shopfloor.
Kit parts trolleys for use on shop workstations.
Allocate kitted materials to job within computer ERP system / M1.
Deliver kitted trolleys to workstations.
Inspect workstation racks for empty stock boxes.
Liaise with production teams to anticipate needs and minimize downtime

WHAT YOU BRING

Previous stores experience within an engineering / manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in ERP systems (preferably M1).
Forklift license.
Moderate computer literacy.
High attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to follow standard work without deviation and to stop, call and wait when issues arise.
Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical ability to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
