Storeperson

Cranfield Recruitment is seeking a reliable Warehouse Storeperson to join our client’s team in Stapylton.

You’ll help keep warehouse operations running smoothly, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while maintaining a safe and organised workplace.
Your responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Receive, check and store incoming goods.
• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Complete basic product assembly when required.
• Process stock movements and shipments using warehouse computer systems.
• Prepare and check shipping documentation.
• Conduct stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse and yard.
• Follow safety procedures and work closely with the wider team to meet delivery deadlines.

What you’ll bring

• A current forklift licence.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or distribution experience.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• The ability to safely handle heavy items.
• A reliable, punctual approach and a strong commitment to safety.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.

Experience with inventory systems and a current First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one, would be advantageous.
