Storeperson (PM shift)

StraitNZ is a unique, nationwide end-to-end network of trusted transport infrastructure. We connect New Zealand across both road and sea - with experience, versatility, and impressive capacity. Our fleet of two ships and over 200 trucks is supported by a nationwide network of six depots and a 450+ strong team to deliver hundreds of thousands of tonnes of freight (and passengers) weekly.

On offer is a PM shift, working Monday to Friday starting at 3.00pm each afternoon and working through until around midnight, once the workload is complete. (The successful applicant will also be required to work extra hours every second Saturday). This position is based in South Hornby, and you would be working in our new modern purpose built warehouse.

This is a varied role, and the ideal applicant should have:

• A good work ethic, be punctual and have a good work attendance record
• Current Fork-hoist Operator certification
• Previous Inwards and Outwards freight experience (Senior level)
• Good logistical admin skills
• Be physically fit for the job
• Be a team player
