As a result of continued growth, an opportunity is now available for an experienced Stores Controller to take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory control and team coordination.
 
This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiency within a busy warehouse environment.
 
About the Role
 
Reporting to the Operations leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of stock movements, inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation and safety compliance. You'll play a key role in ensuring materials are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of operational performance.
 
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing inward and outward stock movements, dispatches and inventory transactions
• Ensuring all stock is accurately received, labelled, stored and traceable
• Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies and inventory variances
• Coordinating stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory audits
• Maintaining warehouse consumables and operational supplies
• Supervising warehouse activities and providing day-to-day direction to team members
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with workplace procedures
• Working closely with purchasing, production, sales and operations teams to resolve stock-related matters
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse efficiency and accuracy

About You
 
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a Stores Controller, Warehouse Supervisor, Inventory Controller or similar position
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management and warehouse operations
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities
• High attention to detail and a commitment to inventory accuracy
• Experience using ERP, inventory management or warehouse management systems
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach to warehouse leadership
• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
