The Role

You'll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day running of our Stores function, ensuring materials and components are accurately managed and available when required.

Working closely with Production, Procurement, Quality and Finance, you'll help maintain stock accuracy, manage goods in and out, and ensure all activities meet the strict traceability and documentation requirements of aerospace manufacturing.

The position also involves occasional deliveries to customers, which may require travel outside normal working hours and overnight stays.

What We Offer

  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Healthcare benefits
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
  • Holiday Purchase Scheme
  • Birthday Leave
  • Long service awards
  • Career development opportunities
  • Free onsite parking
  • Early finish Friday

What You'll Be Doing

  • Receive, check and dispatch goods, materials and components in accordance with Company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and process transactions using SYSPRO ERP.
  • Manage stock movements, including booking materials from inspection into stock and allocating stock to sales.
  • Maintain tooling stores and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Prepare, label, package and seal components for storage or dispatch.
  • Carry out stock checks, cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Monitor stock rotation, FIFO procedures and material shelf-life requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised Stores environment in line with 5S principles.
  • Support customer deliveries and wider Stores and Logistics activities when required.

About You

We're looking for someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable working in a busy manufacturing environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in Stores, Warehousing, Stock Control or Logistics.
  • Experience within aerospace manufacturing or another environment requiring strict material traceability.
  • Good understanding of goods-in/goods-out procedures and inventory management.
  • Experience using ERP or stock management systems, ideally SYSPRO.
  • Good computer, communication and numerical skills.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence held for at least three years.
  • A valid Forklift Truck Licence.
  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Why Join Beagle Aircraft?

This is an opportunity to become part of a specialist aerospace manufacturing business where effective Stores and Logistics operations are essential to keeping production moving.

You'll work closely with different departments, supporting the movement of materials and components through the manufacturing process while ensuring the accuracy, traceability and quality standards our customers expect.
