Established in 1933 with a proud history.  Wilson Transformer Company (WTC) is Australia's largest manufacture of distribution and power transformer solutions operating two state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in regional Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne with service facilities across Australia and in the UK.

We offer end-to-end transformer solutions, including product specification review, design, manufacture, factory acceptance test, installation, condition monitoring, maintenance and repair services, spare parts and asset disposal.

We support the majority of the electricity infrastructure providers and heavy electricity users and have a proven track record of supplying a wide range of transformer solutions across Australia and in targeted overseas markets.

Currently, we have a full-time permanent opportunity for a Stores Person within our Dandenong facility. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for material handling activities within the warehouses across both the Dandenong & Glen Waverley sites.

This role will see you:

• Unpacking and receipting incoming goods, including unloading containers.
• Packing sales orders.
• Checking delivery in full and reporting any shortages.
• Filling Kanban Inventory as required by each department.

To perform successful in this role, you have:

• Good numerical and logical reasoning.
• A forklift licence.
• Efficient time management.
• Safety awareness within your environment.
• Physical fitness as some heavy lifting is involved.
• Conversational English ability, both written and verbal.

Although not essential, it would be great if you have:

• Any OHSE certificates
• Understanding of ERP Systems (we use Epicor E10)
• Ability to understand Kitting lists and read Mechanical Drawings
• A Dogging license is helpful, ‘we can help you get this’
