Stores/Logistics Manager

Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing engineering company located close to Perth Airport.

The company employs roughly 60 staff and growing fast.

Due to growth the directors are now looking to add to the successful management team with the addition of an experienced stores/logistics manager on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the store/warehouse and coordinate workloads

• Order, receive, check materials

• Maintain accurate stock levels and complete regular stock takes and reconciliations

• Manage stock transfers, returns, faulty items, warranties and supplier credits

• Maintain an organised, safe and compliant store/warehouse

• Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve stock and job-readiness issues

• Provide clear stock, purchasing and warehouse updates to management

• Manage all logistics/transport of goods incoming/outgoing

About You

• Previous experience in warehouse/stores management and logistics

• Strong understanding of purchasing, receiving, stock allocation and stock takes

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Confidence using warehouse, inventory or job-management software

• Good communication skills

• Experience within the engineering or mining services industry would be ideal

• A current driver’s licence and the physical ability to safely perform normal duties

• Current Forklift licence

• Australian Citizen or P.R visa holder
