Storesperson

About the role

Innovent Engineering Group Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and motivated Storesperson to join our team based in Forrestdale, WA. You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of our stores and warehouse, including receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining stock, preparing materials for projects and assisting with general warehouse duties. This role would suit someone who is organised, dependable, physically capable and comfortable working in a busy engineering and industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and store incoming goods and materials.
• Pick, pack and prepare parts and materials for projects and dispatch.
• Load and unload deliveries using a forklift where required.
• Maintain stock levels based on operation requirements.
• Ensure materials, workshop tooling and equipment are stored correctly and easily identifiable.
• Coordinate with workshop, project and purchasing personnel regarding stock requirements.
• Assist with deliveries and collections when required.
• Complete basic stores documentation and computer-based records.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores and warehouse area.
• Follow company safety procedures and manual handling requirements.

About you

• Current Forklift Licence.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Physically capable of performing manual handling duties.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous stores, warehouse or inventory management experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
