STP OPERATOR

Role Objective:

To do the daily operations and maintenance of our residential STP, ensuring 100% compliance with local environmental standards and optimizing operational costs. Initially, you will oversee the existing subcontractor, audit their performance, and develop the internal capacity to take over full operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subcontractor Oversight: Audit the subcontractor’s daily logs, preventive maintenance schedules, and chemical dosing to ensure value for money and technical accuracy.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report key parameters, including pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), MLSS, BOD and COD effluent quality to prevent regulatory fines.
• Cost Control: Monitor electricity and chemical consumption to identify inefficiencies and propose cost-saving measures.
• Equipment Health: Conduct independent inspections of blowers, pumps, and sensors to ensure the subcontractor is maintaining assets for longevity, not just short-term fixes.
• Internal Transition: Create a detailed Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and training manual for a future in-house team to replace the subcontractor.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech/Diploma in Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience: 3–5+ years in STP/Wastewater operations, specifically with [MBR/SBR/ASP] technologies.
