Strategic Central Planning Manager

About the role

Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Planning covering demand planning, supply/procurement planning, production planning, inventory planning, warehousing and distribution to ensure alignment with business objectives. Lead the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process across Sales, Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to establish an integrated Demand & Supply plan and balance customer demand, capacity, materials, inventory and cost.

Key responsibilities

• Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Planning: covering demand planning, supply/procurement planning, production planning, inventory planning, warehousing and distribution to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Lead the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process across Sales, Production, Procurement, Warehouse and Logistics to establish an integrated Demand & Supply plan and balance customer demand, capacity, materials, inventory and cost.
• Develop and manage Demand Forecasting: Develop Demand Forecasts based on sales data, sales projections, market trends, seasonality, promotions and business factors, while monitoring Forecast Accuracy and continuously improving forecasting processes.
• Translate Demand Plan into Supply Plan by assessing raw materials, packaging materials, production capacity and other resources to ensure customer demand can be fulfilled efficiently.
• Plan and coordinate Procurement / Sourcing of raw materials and packaging materials in line with production and customer requirements, considering lead time, MOQ, supplier capacity, cost and safety stock.
• Lead Production Planning and Capacity Planning: Develop the Master Production Plan and optimize production schedules based on capacity, equipment, resources and process constraints, particularly in a continuous production environment.
• Lead Inventory Planning: Establish and monitor appropriate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods to achieve customer service targets while controlling inventory days, slow-moving and excess inventory.
• Coordinate Warehouse and Distribution Planning in alignment with the Production Plan and customer delivery requirements, working closely with Warehouse and Logistics/Transportation to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
• Lead Supply-Demand Balancing and Exception Management: Identify risks and constraints affecting sales, production, materials, inventory and delivery, and develop corrective actions and resource priorities.
• Drive Supply Chain Planning Optimization: Analyze trade-offs among service level, inventory, production capacity, procurement cost, transportation cost and working capital to achieve total supply chain optimization.

About you

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Science, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Material Planning and/or Inventory Planning within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work with data from multiple systems and develop automated reports, dashboards and planning analysis to improve planning accuracy and decision-making.
