About This Role

As a Strategic Project Associate, you will act as the engine for strategic execution within OnDemand, LEARN Corporation's flagship tutoring brand. Reporting directly to the Director, you will be entrusted with driving high-impact projects from conception to completion, ensuring they align with our long-term vision and deliver measurable results. You will not just manage timelines; you will shape outcomes. You will work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the organization. Your mission is to translate ambitious goals into actionable plans, remove roadblocks, and foster a culture of accountability and excellence. What You'll Drive

1. Strategic Project Execution

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of key strategic projects, from initial scoping and planning to execution, monitoring, and closing.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and clear timelines.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Own the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring they meet or exceed defined success metrics and business objectives.

2. PMO Framework & Governance

• Architect and implement a standardized Project Management Office (PMO) framework to enhance efficiency and consistency across projects.
• Define and roll out best-practice processes, templates, and tools for project intake, prioritization, and reporting.
• Establish clear governance structures and communication cadences to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Champion the adoption of these new standards, coaching teams to elevate their project management capabilities.

3. Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Partner with senior leadership and department heads to ensure strategic alignment and secure necessary resources.
• Facilitate effective communication across all project stakeholders, from executive sponsors to individual team members.
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and compelling progress reports and presentations to the leadership team.
• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners in Marketing, Academics, Technology, and Operations.

4. Data-Driven Analysis & Strategic Planning

• Utilize data analysis to inform strategic decisions, validate project hypotheses, and measure performance against KPIs.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for the leadership team.
• Contribute to the annual strategic planning process by identifying new opportunities and potential projects for growth.
• Develop robust business cases for proposed initiatives, outlining potential impact, costs, and resource requirements.

What You'll Bring

• 3-5 years of direct experience in project management, ideally within a strategic or business transformation context.

• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, connecting individual projects to broader business objectives and market trends.

• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and driving collaboration in a complex organizational environment.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with senior leadership.

• Bonus Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power Bl or Tableau to create insightful dashboards and reports.
  • Experience in the EdTech, education, or consulting industries is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and the judgment to apply the right one.
