  • Monitor supplier performance against agreed quality, volume and delivery

commitments; track compliance with contract terms and escalate deviations

  • Manage planting material sourcing, import feasibility, phytosanitary compliance and

quarantine requirements across geographies

  1. In-Region Programme Monitoring
  • Travel to supplier locations to monitor contracted cultivation programmes on ground

and ensure delivery against plan

  • Track programme milestones across the crop cycle and flag risks on yield, quality or

timeline

  • Serve as the on-ground point of contact for international partners, resolving operational

issues as they arise

  1. Institutional & Partnership Programmes
  • Engage with public research institutions, agricultural universities and government

programmes for access to improved planting material and germplasm

  • Coordinate material transfer arrangements, field trials and evaluation programmes with

institutional partners

  • Build and maintain relationships with public-private partnership platforms in target

geographies

  1. Domestic Agri Value Chain Programmes (approx. 25% of role)

crops

  • Coordinate field trials, pilot plots and scale-up planning with domestic institutes and

farmer groups

  • Ensure alignment between domestic and international sourcing strategies
  1. Analysis, Quality & Programme Reporting
  • Coordinate sample collection, testing and evaluation with the quality team; track quality

parameters across origins

  • Maintain comparative sourcing analysis across origins on a total-cost and cost-per-unit-

active-ingredient basis

  • Prepare programme updates, supplier assessments and management reporting to

support sourcing decisions
