Strategy and Operations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Strategy and Operations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will partner closely with senior leadership to turn strategic priorities into clear action plans, governance routines, and measurable business outcomes. You will help drive portfolio execution, strengthen decision-making through dashboards and insights, and support cross-functional alignment across a matrixed organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and business planning capabilities along with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority. This position also supports go-to-market planning and leadership communications for high-priority initiatives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $102,000 – $170,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP/GM to translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives
• Drive development and tracking of strategic plans and business priorities
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions across the portfolio
• Establish and manage portfolio governance mechanisms
• Develop executive dashboards to track key performance metrics
• Lead preparation for leadership meetings and strategic presentations
• Support go-to-market planning for new products and initiatives

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or program management
• Strong analytical and business planning skills
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in matrixed organizations
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills
• Experience with analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Ability to influence without direct authority
