Passionate about reporting our performance to community? Do you enjoy working collaboratively to develop strategy and translate that into actions? Are you inspired by the opportunity to drive a culture of consistent and integrated service planning and reporting?

Located in the centre of Melbourne's growing west, Brimbank City Council is a local government that is welcoming, diverse, and proud - just like the community we serve.

Being community-first underpins everything we do. We work and advocate for our community, being innovative, future-focused, and responsive; applying these same principles to the way we work with each other every day.

Brimbank is situated on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri and Bunurong people. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

Every person working for Brimbank City Council shares our aspiration to make our City the best it can be!

We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Strategy and Performance Partner to join our team. The role suits those with experience in Strategic Planning, Research and Analysis and an eye for detail.

The role requires:

  • Experience in corporate planning including integrated planning and reporting frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, negotiating and building consensus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making.
  • A commitment to community engagement, upholding organisational values, and working ethically and with integrity.
  • Highly developed writing skills and ability to present data to different audiences.

Benefits of working at Brimbank:

  • Rostered day off
  • 36 hour working week
  • Flexible work practices including hybrid working arrangements
  • 16 days of personal leave per year (FTE)
  • 20 weeks paid parental leave (FTE)
  • 8 weeks partner leave (FTE)
  • Make a positive impact to your local community
