About the Role

We are looking for a candidate with 2-3 years of relevant experience to join ARACT's Strategy Team. The role provides an opportunity to support projects and initiatives relevant to leadership decision-making through structured research, analysis and insight development across the battery industry.

The candidate will work with the team to monitor external developments, build fact bases and translate technical, market, policy and supply-chain information into clear inputs for business discussions and management reviews.

The Strategy Team Works Across

• Internal business intelligence: Supporting monitoring and analysis of annual and long-term business plans and key developments.
• External intelligence: Tracking economic, policy, regulatory, market and technological developments and assessing their potential implications for the business.
• Strategic collaborations: Supporting the assessment of joint ventures, technology partnerships, preferential/commercial arrangements and other strategic collaborations through research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on policies, regulations and standards relevant to the battery industry.
• Track policy and regulatory updates, technology advancements and supply-chain developments, and summarize their potential business implications.
• Support market research and industry analysis covering battery packs, cell components, materials and associated supply chains.
• Develop fact bases, benchmarks and structured analyses to support the team in evaluating business risks, opportunities and strategic questions.
• Build and maintain an internal technical knowledge base to help the team stay current with external developments.
• Analyze datasets and prepare clear visualizations, summaries and insights for internal discussions and management reviews.
• Support the preparation of quarterly, annual and other management presentations.
• Collaborate with team members and relevant stakeholders on cross-functional assignments as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an agile and collaborative team player who is comfortable working across technical and business topics, learning quickly and contributing to multiple workstreams under the guidance of the team leadership.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills

• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in battery storage technology, market research, consulting, strategy, or a related field.
• Sound understanding of Li-ion batteries, basic electrochemistry and major battery storage components.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to structure information and derive clear observations from data and external sources.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis and working with structured datasets.
• Ability to prepare clear, concise and well-structured PowerPoint presentations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and analytical findings clearly.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Knowledge of battery cell materials, components and associated supply chains.
• Familiarity with the Indian battery, electric mobility or energy-storage ecosystem.
• Prior exposure to policy, regulatory, standards or technology research in the battery or related industries.
• Ability to understand engineering diagrams, material specifications and other technical documentation.
• Exposure to market intelligence, competitive benchmarking or strategic research assignments.
