Strategy Manager

Our client is an Australian social enterprise organisation working to expand employment opportunities for people with disability. With a growing pipeline spanning strategy, business growth, partnerships, acquisitions and transformation, we are seeking a Strategy Manager to help organisations turn ambitious plans into practical outcomes.

This opportunity will suit a consulting, strategy or transformation professional who enjoys varied work, takes ownership of delivery and wants to see the impact of their contribution.

Working closely with Directors and partner organisations, you will lead project workstreams from initial analysis through to implementation. You will work across all levels of an organisation, building relationships with executives and operational teams to understand challenges, develop recommendations and put plans into practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing markets, organisational performance and opportunities for growth or improvement.
• Developing business cases, practical recommendations and implementation plans.
• Leading project workstreams, managing priorities and keeping delivery on track.
• Facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions to build agreement on decisions and next steps.
• Supporting organisations to implement change, resolve delivery challenges and track results.
• Contributing across strategy, partnerships, acquisitions and broader transformation projects as priorities evolve.

You will bring experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, corporate development or a related advisory environment, with a track record of taking work from analysis into implementation.
Strong analytical and commercial skills will be complemented by clear communication and the ability to build effective relationships across an organisation. You will be equally comfortable preparing a business case, facilitating a leadership discussion and working through the practical detail with an operational team.

Experience working with or within not-for-profit or other purpose-led organisations is preferred but not essential.
