Strategy Manager

Job Overview:

As a Strategy Manager/ Associate Planning Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of strategic solutions for clients, particularly in Integrated Marketing Communications (PR) and Influencer Marketing. You will create innovative strategies, conduct in-depth research, and build compelling proposals to drive the success of client campaigns. Your role will be key in shaping the company’s strategic direction and ensuring that client objectives are met effectively through well-planned campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data & Operational Excellence

• Partner with business and innovation teams to obtain, consolidate, and analyze foundational research materials, competitor reviews, and market data.
• Demonstrate agile coordination capabilities, proactively engaging with cross-functional teams to inspire members and deliver strategic outputs efficiently.

Strategic Planning & Insight Development

• Deconstruct and understand strategic tasks from account teams, providing sharp operational suggestions to make campaign plans more focused, execution-ready, and efficient.
• Uncover compelling cultural tensions, analyze consumer motivations, and bring fact-based knowledge to light to inspire creative and strategic development.
• Assist the strategy manager in developing communication plans, actively identifying the roles of various channels, including new media and emerging platforms.
• Assist in defining clear brand propositions and strategic positioning, and begin evaluating creative work through the lens of these insights.
• Help write clear, inspiring creative briefs that give creative teams a precise launchpad for execution.

Storytelling

• Builds clear and engaging presentations with guidance from strategy managers
• Communicates strategic thinking confidently in internal meetings and client presentations.
• Presents research and recommendations in a structured and compelling way.
• Learns how to tailor narratives for different audiences.

Account & Pitch Contribution

• Deliver strategic support across key client accounts, maintaining a high standard of strategic thinking.
• Act as a reliable player in new business pitches, contributing research, ideas, and strategic frameworks.
• Broaden strategic skills by actively participating in special projects, award submissions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Strategic Planning / Content Planning / Social Planning in a creative or digital agency
• Strong understanding of social trends, influencer culture, and digital consumer behavior
• Experience in working on influencer/WOM campaigns is highly preferred
• Sharp strategic thinking , blending data and creativity in a coherent narrative
• Strong writing and storytelling skills , in both English and Vietnamese
• Collaborative, proactive, and curious , with a growth mindset
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments
