Job Summary

804Live is seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to join our Street Team! With the ability to host a wide range of events throughout the year, including concerts, festivals, comedy shows, and private events, 804Live offers a variety of live entertainment experiences to the Richmond community.

Our Street Team helps build awareness and excitement for upcoming events by engaging with the public and distributing promotional materials. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy live entertainment, event promotion, and interacting with people.

This is an as-needed, part-time position. Hours will vary based on the event calendar, promotional opportunities, and marketing department needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent 804Live and promote upcoming events at locations throughout the Richmond community, including local businesses, community gatherings, and other promotional opportunities.
• Distribute promotional materials, merchandise, flyers, and event information to increase awareness and encourage ticket sales and attendance.
• Engage with members of the public to share information about upcoming events, answer questions, and generate interest in 804Live offerings.
• Assist with promotional activations, giveaways, and other marketing initiatives designed to increase community engagement.
• Identify opportunities to expand promotional reach by building relationships with local businesses and community members.
• Track promotional materials distributed to local businesses and document promotional placements, including photographs of posters and other marketing displays.
• Gather feedback, questions, and potential leads from community interactions and communicate relevant information to the marketing team.
• Support additional marketing and community outreach initiatives as needed.
• Maintain organized records of outreach activities and promotional results. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage comfortably and professionally with a variety of audiences.
• Outgoing, approachable, and enthusiastic about live entertainment, events, and community engagement.
• Dependable, punctual, and professional, with a strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable approaching members of the public and initiating conversations in a variety of settings.
• Organized and able to accurately track promotional activities, materials, and outreach efforts.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common computer applications preferred.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods while distributing promotional materials.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Relevant experience in promotions, marketing, customer service, or community outreach is a plus. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, based on event and promotional needs.
