Strength & Conditioning Coach

Upstate Power House is an indoor baseball and softball training facility in Duncan, SC. We're looking for a Strength & Conditioning Coach to help our athletes get faster, stronger, more explosive, and less injury-prone.

This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor position. Create your own schedule (generally weeknights 4-8 PM and/or some weekends).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Run small-group and one-on-one strength and conditioning sessions for baseball and softball players ages 7 and up
• Build sport-specific programs focused on rotational power, speed, arm care, mobility, and injury prevention
• Lead team training sessions for local travel and high school programs
• Track athlete progress and share updates with players and parents
• Work with our hitting and pitching coaches so training supports what athletes do on the field
• Help build and grow the S&C program at UPH

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Certification such as CSCS, NASM, ACE, or USAW (or currently working toward one)
• Experience training youth and high school athletes, ideally baseball or softball
• Strong coaching skills: you can teach good movement and keep a group of young athletes engaged
• Reliable, professional, and great with parents
• Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is a plus
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified)
• Must pass a background check

SCHEDULE & PAY

• Flexible: create your own schedule (generally weeknights 4-8 PM and/or some weekends)
• Starting at $25/hour
• 1099 independent contractor

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
