Strength and Conditioning Coach

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of your P360 Level 1 Exam upon hiring.
• Lead and coach group fitness classes. Manage organization, provide effective communication, and maintain a safe, positive environment.
• Personal training when available.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with members.
• A high energy personality that is comfortable in motivating a room for 60 minutes.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 2+ years of fitness coaching experience (including the barbell lifts).
• Technical knowledge and understanding of the major barbell and kettlebell movements.
• A nationally accredited fitness certification that includes either NSCA, NASM, ISSA, CrossFit. Others will be considered.

COMPENSATION

• Commensurate with industry experience and availability.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• 1-3 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San Diego, CA 92126: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Group fitness: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• AED Certification (Preferred)

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
