The position:

Hillcrest Christian College is seeking an experienced and passionate Strings Coordinator to lead and grow our vibrant strings program. This unique casual role combines high-quality strings tuition with program leadership, supporting students from beginner to advanced levels while fostering a love of music and performance.

Working closely with the Director of Performance, the Strings Coordinator will deliver individual and small group strings lessons, oversee student development, coordinate ensembles, rehearsals, performances, competitions, and special events, and design and deliver the College's beginner strings immersion program. The role also includes leading a team of string tutors, coordinating student placements and teaching allocations, and supporting the ongoing growth and excellence of the College's strings program.

Commencing Term 4 2026, the successful applicant will be passionate about nurturing young musicians of all abilities, committed to excellence in music education, and dedicated to creating engaging learning and performance experiences that build confidence, skill, and a lifelong appreciation of music.
