Job Overview

Stroud's Overland Park is seeking dedicated and skilled Caterers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and exceptional customer service skills. As a Caterer, you will be responsible for delivering, and serving food at various events while ensuring a high level of satisfaction for our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Timing is everything, if you are constantly late this is not the job for you!

We have 3 types of delivery service. Simple Drop off, Full service catering and Pan fry on site. The simple drop off we pay $7.25 an hour and $50 fee. Full-service caterings and Pan frys we pay $150 flat and $7.25 an hour. This is a part time job and would mainly be on-call currently until catering ramps up for the holiday season. We would love to have you join our team and work full time though!

*Clean driving record and current drivers license is required.

Duties

• Deliver catering orders to event locations using a box truck or delivery vehicle.
• Set up and break down catering events, ensuring all food and equipment are properly arranged.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with clients and guests during events.
• Load and unload catering supplies, including heavy lifting of food containers and equipment.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the catering area and delivery vehicles.
• Follow all safety guidelines while driving, including route planning for timely deliveries.
• Assist with inventory management of food supplies and equipment.

Experience

• Previous experience in catering or food service is preferred.
• Customer service experience is essential for interacting with clients effectively
• Commercial driving experience is highly desirable
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier is advantageous for efficient route driving. Drivers license is mandatory!
