Structural Analysis Engineer 5 (Virtual)

For our client, we are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer 5 (Virtual) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will focus on advanced structural analysis for aerospace programs, supporting design decisions, certification efforts, and product integrity across the development lifecycle. The engineer will collaborate closely with broader engineering teams and regulatory stakeholders to help ensure structures meet demanding performance and compliance requirements. This position also includes evaluating test and analytical methods to support current programs while informing future design approaches.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $143,650 – $224,250 annually

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize structural analysis work at the program level
• Develop and document structural requirements for system design
• Coordinate with engineering teams to define product environments
• Guide product design by verifying structural integrity through analytical methods
• Review and approve certification results to ensure compliance with requirements
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product specifications
• Investigate emerging technologies for future product designs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
• 5-7 years of experience in structural analysis or a related field
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance required
• Expertise in developing analytical methods and finite element models
• Experience coordinating with engineering teams and regulatory agencies
