Structural Audit Engineer

Kaling Technocrat & Co. is looking for an Structural Audit Engineer to join our team. The role combines structural inspections and audits, RCC and steel design, and on-site supervision of repair, retrofitting and strengthening works.

You will work on existing buildings and new structural projects, gaining exposure from initial assessment and testing through to design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect buildings and document structural distress, including cracks, corrosion, spalling, deflections and seepage.
• Conduct and supervise structural testing, interpret results and recommend repair or strengthening measures.
• Prepare structural audit reports, inspection reports and supporting technical documentation.
• Analyse and design RCC and steel structures using ETABS and/or STAAD.Pro, supported by manual calculations.
• Develop retrofitting schemes, including RCC/steel jacketing, FRP wrapping and micro-concreting.
• Review structural drawings, reinforcement details, BOQs, specifications and method statements.
• Supervise site works, check quality and coordinate with contractors, clients and site teams.
• Measure executed quantities, verify contractor bills and prepare progress reports.
