Structural CAD Draftsman

Key Responsibilities -

• Prepare structural shop drawings, fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop structural steel drawings, including beams, columns, connections, bracing, and other structural components, as applicable to the project.
• Prepare reinforcement and concrete structural drawings where required.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to identify discrepancies and coordinate necessary revisions.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions and approved modifications.
• Revise drawings according to engineers’ comments, consultant feedback, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, project managers, production teams, and site personnel.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and company quality requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing registers, and revision control.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and drawing quality.

Requirements and Qualifications -

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Structural CAD Draftsman.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience in preparing structural shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural, architectural, and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of structural steel detailing, connections, and construction practices is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Tekla Structures or other structural detailing software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, coordination, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates with relevant UAE construction or structural steel experience will be preferred.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
