What they need

Keep Projects Moving. Own the Details. Support What's Next.

Trinity Solar, one of the nation's leading residential solar companies, is looking for a Structural Coordinator to bring strong organization, communication, and follow-through to our growing solar operations team.

This is a key support role where you'll help keep solar projects moving by coordinating engineering documentation, managing requests for structural letters and affidavits, and ensuring required materials are received, organized, and uploaded accurately and on time.

You'll work closely with engineers, vendors, project managers, permitting teams, and internal operations to monitor documentation, resolve outstanding items, and prevent delays. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and making sure the details don't fall through the cracks.

If you're proactive, detail-oriented, comfortable following up with multiple stakeholders, and take pride in keeping projects organized and on schedule, we want to hear from you.

Compensation: $18 - $20 / hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage requests for engineering letters, affidavits, and related documentation required to support solar project approvals.

  • Track requests and follow up with engineering partners to ensure required materials are completed and received within established timelines.

  • Upload and organize documentation accurately within company systems and partner engineering platforms.

  • Communicate professionally and courteously with engineers, vendors, project managers, and internal team members to ensure seamless information flow.

  • Monitor document status and project timelines, proactively identifying missing items or potential delays.

  • Follow up on outstanding documentation and work to resolve issues that could create project bottlenecks.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure documents are properly formatted, organized, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with permitting, engineering, and operations teams to support the efficient progression of solar projects.

  • Manage multiple requests and priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

  • Identify opportunities to improve documentation workflows, communication, and turnaround times.

  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and responsiveness when working with internal and external partners.

  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

  • Assist with additional coordination, administrative, and project support tasks as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, courteous, and solution-oriented approach.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling project documentation.

  • Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to proactively identify outstanding items and drive them toward completion.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, vendors, project managers, and internal teams.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and determine appropriate next steps.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM/project management tools preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.

  • Ability to prioritize competing requests while maintaining accountability for individual deliverables.

  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to providing excellent internal and external service.

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, engineering coordination, project coordination, or a related administrative/project support role.

  • Experience coordinating documentation, project requirements, or external partners preferred.

  • Experience in the solar, construction, engineering, or related industry is a plus.

  • Equivalent combination of training and practical experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office and operations environment.

  • Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and other digital communication platforms.

  • Ability to occasionally move, carry, or handle office materials and equipment as required.

Why This Role?

This isn't just a documentation or administrative position. As a Structural Coordinator, you'll help keep the details behind our solar projects organized, complete, and moving forward.

You'll serve as an important connection between engineering partners and our internal teams, making sure requests are followed up on, documentation is received, and potential delays are addressed before they impact a project. Your organization and communication will directly support our teams in delivering projects efficiently and providing a great customer experience.

If you're someone who likes keeping things organized, enjoys working with different teams, and takes ownership of getting the details across the finish line, this is an opportunity to build a career in an industry that's helping shape the future of energy.
