About the Position

We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to take ownership of structural design projects from concept through to completion. Working within a fast-paced project environment, you will be responsible for analysing existing structures, developing new designs, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with clients and project teams to deliver safe, efficient, and fit-for-purpose engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse existing communication structures, including towers, masts, and monopoles
• Design new steel and concrete structures, foundations, and associated components
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and design documentation
• Review structural drawings and work closely with drafting teams
• Liaise with project managers and clients to deliver engineering outcomes
• Assist with project quotations and technical proposals
• Ensure designs meet Australian Standards and project requirements
• Support compliance with quality, safety, and environmental systems

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience in structural steel and concrete design
• Exposure to telecommunications, mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards
• Experience preparing engineering calculations and reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with SpaceGass or similar structural analysis software
• AutoCAD experience (desirable)
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
