STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER

About the role

Structural Design Engineer position based in Petaling Jaya. The role involves performing structural analysis and design calculations for bridges and buildings, preparing design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering, engineering assessments, structural inspections, strengthening, and upgrading works.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for bridges and buildings

• Prepare design proposals and technical reports for construction engineering, engineering assessments, structural inspections, strengthening, and upgrading works

• Manage projects, including site coordination, resolving technical issues, and monitoring project progress

• Review and check engineering drawings prepared by draftsmen

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities on project-related matters and regulatory requirements

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
• Experience in bridge or/and building design is an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Responsible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed attitude towards work
• Good command of English, and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
