Structural Design Engineer

Role Description The Structural Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for developing safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural designs for residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties within ZUKHROF’s portfolio. Daily tasks include performing structural analysis and calculations, preparing design drawings and documentation, coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers, and ensuring designs comply with local codes, safety standards, and company requirements. The Structural Design Engineer will review and optimize existing designs, support site teams with technical guidance, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with contractors and external consultants to resolve structural issues during construction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering.
• Candidates should possess foundational knowledge and practical experience in Civil Engineering.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools, including AutoCAD.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience designing reinforced concrete and steel structures for buildings and compounds.
• Familiarity with international and local building codes and standards (e.g., Eurocode, ACI, BS, Qatari regulations).
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and integrate structural solutions within multidisciplinary designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and safety.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Previous experience in real estate development or construction projects in the GCC region is an advantage.
