Structural Design Engineer - Consultant

About the Role

As a Structural Design Engineer at Talent 360, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for a variety of projects while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project requirements, and applicable building codes. You will contribute to project delivery through technical expertise, coordination, and high-quality engineering documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for reinforced concrete and steel structures across a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
• Develop structural models and engineering calculations using industry-standard software.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, design reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with local and international design codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Participate in BIM coordination and contribute to the development of accurate structural models.
• Conduct engineering calculations and support QA/QC reviews to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and provide technical support during construction when required.
• Assist in resolving technical design challenges and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and support project delivery within established timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3 5 years of experience in Structural Design Engineering.
• Experience within an engineering consultancy environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
• Proficiency in BIM workflows and Autodesk Revit.
• Strong experience using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and Microsoft Office.
• Good understanding of structural analysis, engineering standards, and building codes.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet project deadlines.
