Structural Design Engineer, Lahore

Struvek delivers engineering drafting, BIM modeling and coordination for AEC firms. We start with structural building projects and are growing into engineering design support. You will join a young team and work on real US building projects.

Role summary

You will support structural design of buildings: analysis models, member design, calculations and design markups that our modeling team turns into Revit drawings. This role does not stamp or seal drawings; a licensed US engineer reviews final work.

Responsibilities

• Build and analyze structural models of buildings in ETABS, SAFE or RAM.
• Design beams, columns, slabs, walls and foundations to ACI, AISC and ASCE 7 requirements.
• Prepare clear calculation packages and design markups for the modeling team.
• Review Revit models and drawings against your design and flag errors.
• Coordinate with the Senior Modeler on drawing schedules and design changes.
• Report progress and design risks to the founder daily.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (structural focus preferred).
• 3 to 6 years of building structural design experience.
• Hands-on skills in ETABS, SAFE, RAM or STAAD.
• Working knowledge of US codes: ACI 318, AISC 360 and ASCE 7.
• Basic Revit knowledge to review drawings.
• Examples of past design work or calculations (required).
• Good written English for calculations and updates.
• Available to work on-site in Lahore.

Nice to have

• PEC registration or progress toward it.
• Experience on US building projects or with US seismic and wind provisions.
• Mass timber, post-tensioned or steel design experience.
• Excel or Python skills for calculation automation.

What we offer

• Salary of PKR 150,000 – 200,000 per month, set by skill and experience.
• Full-time, on-site role in Lahore, Monday to Friday.
