Structural Design Engineer (using Autodesk Robot)

WORKING LOCATION: DISTRICT 1, HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM

What Structural Design Engineer will do:

We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer with experience in industry and infrastructure design projects to join our team. In this role, the matched candidate will:

• Preparation of structural designs documents, specifically for:

• Secondary and main steel structures

• Structural steel connections

• Reinforced concrete elements

• Other design briefs, specifications.

• Providing sketches for 3D model and drawing production.

• Doing quality assurance (QA) of design documents, drawings and models; incorporate the QA results for the next round of submissions.

• Close collaboration with clients & other engineering disciplines to provide the best design solutions.

• Attending project meetings as necessary.

• Planning and progressing on your own professional development.

• Other tasks as Project Lead / Manager’s request.

What Structural Design Engineer needs:

We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience in structural design and calculations with Eurocodes.
• Strong academic background in reinforced concrete, steel structures, and structural analysis.
• Good communication skills in English (speaking and writing).
• Experience working with aluminum and wood structures is a plus.
• Good understanding of the Finite Element Method.
• Familiar with calculation software such as Autodesk Robot, Idea Statica, MathCad…
• Ability to prepare clear and professional engineering reports.
• Knowledge of Coding / programming ability (e.g. Excel VBA, Python, or similar) is an advantage.
