Structural Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Engineer / Structural Designer to support the design and engineering of solar energy projects. The role will focus on structural analysis and design of vertical structures, rooftops, and solar mounting systems, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with applicable engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for solar projects, including rooftops and vertical structures.
• Design and assess structural supports for solar panels and mounting systems.
• Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and design documents.
• Evaluate existing structures for solar installation and additional loading.
• Coordinate with electrical, architectural, and construction teams.
• Conduct site inspections and structural assessments when required.
• Review structural plans and provide technical solutions for project requirements.
• Ensure designs comply with NSCP and applicable building and safety standards.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• Experience in structural design, particularly vertical structures, rooftops, or solar projects.
• Knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, and solar mounting systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and structural analysis/design software.
• Knowledge of NSCP and applicable building codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to conduct site visits and field inspections.
