Structural Designer

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Structural Designer to join our design team. Responsibilities

• Develop accurate CAD models and structural schematics using AutoCAD.
• Create detailed construction documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and assembly details that adhere to project specifications and building codes.
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to refine design concepts into feasible construction plans.
• Conduct building code analysis to ensure all designs meet local regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools for efficient project coordination and clash detection.
• Prepare schematic diagrams and drafting for structural components that support project visualization and client presentations.
• Review construction detail documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
• Support construction teams by providing technical guidance during the implementation phase based on detailed CAD models.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of building code analysis and building information modeling (BIM) tools to ensure code compliance.
• Experience in construction detail documentation and engineering CAD design processes.
• Familiarity with construction practices and building systems to facilitate accurate design development.
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and architectural plans effectively.
• Excellent graphic design skills for creating clear visual representations of structural concepts.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
