Structural Designer

• Prepare structural drawings, details, calculations, and technical documents for building and construction projects.
• Assist in structural analysis and design of foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other structural components using appropriate design software and tools.
• Review architectural plans, specifications, and engineering documents to identify structural requirements and resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure that structural designs comply with applicable Philippine building codes, National Structural Code of the Philippines (NSCP), relevant international standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEPF engineers, consultants, and construction teams to ensure design compatibility and resolve technical discrepancies.
• Assist in evaluating structural loads, material requirements, design alternatives, and construction methodologies to support project safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and structural details submitted by contractors or suppliers, as assigned and within the scope of authority.
• Conduct design revisions and incorporate approved comments from clients, consultants, engineers, and project management.
• Provide technical support to the construction team in addressing structural design clarifications, requests for information (RFIs), and site-related technical concerns.
• Assist in preparing quantity estimates, material take-offs, technical proposals, and other structural engineering documents for bidding and pre-construction activities.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and updated structural drawings, calculations, design revisions, and project documentation.
• Monitor assigned design deliverables to ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and submission deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate superior, consistent with the position and qualifications

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates should have a Bachelor/s Degree of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or an equivalent relevant engineering qualification
• Minimum of eight (8) years to ten (10) years of relevant work experience in structural design, structural detailing, or building engineering.
• Relevant experience in building construction projects, particularly residential, commercial, office, hotel, or mixed-use developments.
• Demonstrated experience preparing structural drawings, design calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Experience coordinating with structural consultants, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Exposure to high-rise buildings, large-scale developments, or complex structural systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design software, such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000, depending on project requirements.
• Familiarity with Revit Structure, BIM coordination, and 3D modeling is an advantage.
• Understanding of reinforced concrete, structural steel, foundation systems, and structural detailing.
• Knowledge of the National Structural Code of the Philippines, National Building Code of the Philippines, and other applicable standards.
• Ability to interpret architectural plans, engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, material specifications, and structural constructability.
• Competence in technical documentation, design calculations, and engineering report preparation.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php100,000.00 per month
