Structural Designer / EIT (Revit)

Most entry-level structural jobs park you on one building type for five years. Here you will design the bones of luxury Tahoe homes, wildfire rebuilds, multifamily housing, balcony repairs, and commercial spaces, often in the same month, with the architect at the next desk.

Greyscale Architecture is a boutique luxury firm in Roseville running about 90 active projects across Placer, Sacramento, Contra Costa, Napa, and the Sierra foothills. We are building our in-house structural team, and you will help shape it from the ground floor.

Pay: $85,000 - $102,000 per year, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, in person at our Roseville office

Location requirement: You must live within 50 miles of Sacramento

What you will do

• Gravity and lateral design for wood-frame custom homes, including Truckee snow loads and WUI fire rebuilds
• Structural design for multifamily, ADU, and missing-middle housing
• Exterior elevated element (SB 721 / SB 326) inspections and repair design
• Commercial TI, industrial, and church projects in steel, concrete, and masonry
• Build structural models and sheets in Revit
• Prepare calc packages and plan check responses

What you bring

• BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering
• EIT certificate, or the FE exam on your calendar
• 0 to 3 years of experience (internships count)
• Real Revit skills. Be ready to walk us through a model.
• Working knowledge of ASCE 7, NDS, and the CBC
