Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate drafting activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality drawings and models.

• Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models for structures

• Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings, adhering to project requirements and industry standards.

• Work closely with engineers to interpret design intent and ensure that all details are accurately represented in the drawings.

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure that drafting deliverables align with project schedules and budgets.

• Maintain quality control processes for all drafting activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.

• Review drawings prepared by junior drafters, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

• Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD for drafting and modelling tasks.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest software developments and best practices in structural drafting.

• Adhere to APD internal and external client drawing and document management systems as required.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the drafting team and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

👤 What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of structural designing/drafting experience
• Previous experience with structural steel and reinforcement concrete or civil works drafting
• Possesses positive working attitude with can-do approach to all their tasks and responsibilities
• Must have AutoCAD experience
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
