Scope:
The Structural Engineer will report directly to the Deputy Head of Wind Engineering & Structural Health Monitoring and undertake the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide structural engineering expertise across a range of wind engineering and structural health monitoring projects.

• Compile project information and assist with initial planning for wind engineering and structural health monitoring projects.

• Coordinate with the drafting, model shop, and wind engineering teams to ensure the accuracy of drawings, building models, and data.

• Develop test plans and analyze wind engineering and structural health monitoring data.

• Prepare comprehensive technical reports for wind engineering and structural health monitoring projects.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A master’s degree in civil or structural engineering with a strong academic background.

• Knowledge of finite element analysis, structural dynamics, and wind engineering.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Hands-on experience with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE.

• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Openness to mentoring and constructive feedback.
