About the role

As a Structural Engineer at G.H.C Group, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of complex structural engineering projects. Working within a dynamic and highly-skilled team, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality engineering solutions that meet the needs of our diverse client base. This is a full-time position based in our Perth, Western Australia office.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with the structural design of a variety of building projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial developments

• Conduct detailed structural analyses and produce structural drawings, calculations, and specifications

• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, codes, and engineering best practices

• Contribute to the development of innovative design solutions and the continuous improvement of our engineering services

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of 3-5 years' post-graduate experience
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status
• Extensive experience in the structural design of a range of building types, including multi-storey structures
• Strong technical skills in structural analysis, design, and project delivery
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
• Proficient in the use of industry-standard engineering software and design tools
