What they need
We are seeking an entry-level Civil/Structural Design Engineer to design and analyze steel structures (platforms, mezzanines, canopies, and support frames). Key Responsibilities Perform structural load analysis (wind, seismic) and manual hand calculations adhering to industry codes (IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318). Create Excel/Mathcad design tools and prepare technical reports. Collaborate with CAD drafters to review engineering drawings in AutoCAD.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Experience: Hands-on steel design experience required (e.g., via internships, academic coursework, or capstone projects).
Skills: Must be proficient in manual hand calculations, structural analysis concepts, and AutoCAD.
Traits: Strong problem-solving abilities and clear technical communication skills.
