Structural Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design calculations for various structural systems, including steel, masonry, wood, and concrete structures.
• Prepare engineering calculations and ensure designs comply with applicable US codes and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and verify structural drawings for accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Assist the Lead Structural Engineer in developing project scopes, engineering solutions, and technical documentation.
• Manage projects from the design stage through city approvals, bidding, construction documentation, and construction administration.
• Follow the company's engineering standards, procedures, and working protocols.
• Provide technical support and contribute to the successful delivery of multiple projects while meeting established deadlines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural design and analysis software, including Mathcad, RISA, TEDDS, and Enercalc.
• Excellent theoretical and technical knowledge of structural engineering principles.
• Strong understanding of structural drawing review and checking.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
• Ability to work independently and develop practical engineering solutions.
• US Projects working experience is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering (required).
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering (preferred).

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.
