Structural Engineer

• Review and coordinate structural design drawings, including viaduct, bridge, station, foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and other structural components.
• Review structural calculations, design criteria, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and review responses to Engineer’s/Consultant’s comments on structural drawings, calculations, and technical submissions.
• Prepare and review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other technical documents related to structural works.
• Coordinate structural technical matters with the Designer, Engineer, Construction Team, CAD Operators/BIM Modelers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
• Provide engineering support and technical clarification for structural construction activities.
• Monitor structural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and construction requirements.

Skills / Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC) is preferred.
• With relevant experience in infrastructure, railway, elevated viaduct, bridge, or other major structural projects.
• Experience in structural works such as foundations, pile caps, piers/columns, pier caps, girders, beams, slabs, and other reinforced concrete structures.
• Knowledge of structural drawings, design standards, specifications, and construction methods.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting structural drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM software is an advantage.
• Good technical coordination, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Brief Description of Works

• Prepare, review, and maintain structural technical documentation required for ongoing construction works.
• Review structural shop drawings and coordinate with CAD Operators/BIM Modelers for preparation and revision of drawings.
• Monitor structural construction activities and verify compliance with approved drawings, Method Statements, specifications, and project schedule.
• Review site conditions and assist in resolving structural and technical issues encountered during construction.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate necessary corrective actions with the Construction and Quality Teams.
• Coordinate with the Design Team, Consultant/Engineer, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders regarding structural requirements.
• Attend technical coordination meetings and discussions related to structural and construction works.
• Assist in evaluating design changes, site conditions, RFIs, and technical queries related to structural works.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings, technical reports, and other project close-out documentation.

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
